Apparently I mastered the 4 wheel drift without spilling any wooden blocks berfore I was able to walk unassisted. It was then a short few years before the father and son restored MG Midget was cornering castle combe on the doorhandles. After 4 years with the Under Seventeens Car Club, the nice people at DVLA let me out on the highway. more>

Those who have won't be. Not at 930cc with Weber, trick head, cam & exhaust, front rad, lowered 2 inches, 5x12 alloys and drum brakes! Lots of filler and gaffa tape as well. Replace horsepower with courage, it's amazing what these little rollerskates get up to. Wish I still had one (Actually I had 3 but only one worked).

No way around it: speed costs money.

This prompted pursuit of a career in engine parts manufacture, facilitating collection of the tools seen here. It turned out to be a global pursuit which ate up a lot of my spanner wielding time, but enabled me to experience a far richer set of road experiences.

So to integrate family with tyre frying: - Beemer!!

That V8 makes it oh so painless. 924 will be taken outside and shot. Chery still has lots of potential, but I have my eye also on the new Brilliance JinJue - it's just been launched with Mitsubishi engines but in a few months it will be available with a 1.8T, and I might have had something to do with supplying some of the engine bits.
The Lotus? If I still miss the imp, where would I be if I sold the Esprit!..more>
